Notre Dame School provides
a variety of services to support the students and parents including the
following:

Handbook - distributed at time of
enrollment and again at the beginning of each academic year
¨
Transportation - provided by the public
school district in which the student resides, or provided by parents – no
students walk to school
¨
Health Care Services – nurse available, routine
vision and audio screening
¨
Food Services – may
bring lunch or purchase a nutritious daily lunch; reduced cost to those eligible
¨
Resource Teachers - provided by Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV: Remedial and
Enrichment Math and Reading, Speech, Guidance, Testing, and Psychological
Services
¨
Parent Involvement - P.T.O., Advisory Board, Library Volunteers
¨
Extended Care - provides after-school care
for students until 5:30 P.M.
¨
Correspondence - weekly newsletter given
to each family at the end of the school week including the following week’s
lunch menu and additional information such as sporting events, school events,
and a monthly calendar
¨
School Web Page - students and parents may
verify nightly homework assignments, lunch menu, and school events (www.notredame-pa.org)
