Pastor
In his role as leader of the total educational program, the Pastor is the administrative head of the parish school. Together with the principal he maintains an effective program of religious education in the school under the direction and supervision of the Superintendent of Schools.
Principal
The principal is the delegated administrator of the school and is responsible for its organization, supervision, and discipline according to the terms of the contract with the Pastor and the Superintendent of Schools. Her further duty is to cooperate with the Pastor in fulfilling all of her responsibilities in the school. The principal works closely with the Superintendent of Schools to see that the mission statement and polices of the Catholic Schools Office are closely adhered to and supported. The principal is the educational leader of the school.
School Advisory Council
The Notre Dame School Advisory Council was established, for the purpose of promoting and nurturing Christian values, The School Advisory Council is responsible for assisting the Pastor in policy development, evaluation of policy, public relations, and finances. Interested parents of Notre Dame School children are eligible to serve on the Advisory Council. Elections are held during May of each year with the new members assuming their responsibility during August of that year.
Parent-Teacher Organization
The role of the Notre Dame Parent-Teacher Organization is to facilitate the communications among home, school, church and community. This organization shall further act as a resource for raising monies for the school’s operating expenses and for special purchases at the discretion of the pastor, principal and the P.T.O. Executive Board.
