NOTRE DAME THREE YEAR ACTION PLAN

 

2003-2006

 

Notre Dame School will:

 

ü       Move the computer room to the library to accommodate growing enrollment (when needed)

ü       Internet/cable TV hook-ups in all classrooms (2004)

ü       New chalkboards for Kindergarten and Grade 1 (2005-2006)

ü       New desks for classrooms (2004-2006)

ü       Lockers in hallway for grade 7 (2005)

 

GENERAL GOALS

 

Religion                 Promote a Christian Community dedicated to the 

                                teachings of Jesus Christ and the Propagation of our

                                Catholic Faith

 

Academic              Continue instruction in both self-contained and

departmentalized classrooms in order to move through

                                different stages of development and accommodate

                                intellectual growth

 

Physical/                Use space efficiently to meet the needs of our faculty,

Facility                   staff, and students

 

Curriculum             Follow guidelines which are determined by the Erie

                                Diocese in cooperation with the Catholic Schools Office.

                                to rotate the updating of the different areas of academics

 

Faculty                   Encourage learning in a positive environment and to

                                continue participating in education classes to enhance

                                the academic subject matter for the benefit of all

                                students

 

Financial                Make certain that a Catholic Education is possible

                                regardless of the financial status of the family by

                                offering various assistance programs
